I know this is a long shot, but i really want 3 tickets to see Liverpool play. My 2 sons are desperate to see them and as it's both of their birthdays coming up this would make there day. We've taken them to LFC to see the stadium & museum which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Where are u from? It might be easier taking them to an away game as tickets sell out asap for home games.

This website has tickets, but each one is around £100 EACH. http://www.1st4footballtickets.com/tickets/EventList.asp

It may even be cheaper to get a hospitality package. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets/hospitality_anfield.htm. You really need to know a Liverpool season ticket holder or have a load of money in order to wangle tickets.

Join your local supporters club:

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/club/aib/england.htm

It usually costs about £10 per person per season for membership, and the person who runs each club is allocated so many tickets per match. The only stipulation is that if you get tickets from them, you have to go on their coach to the game - costs me £9 on the coach with my club from the midlands, which is cheaper than driving / parking

Family seating is in the Upper Anfield Road end, and is full price for an adult, and 1/2 price for two children (up to 16 years)

I live in Mid-Wales so there aren't many teams that i can go and watch, Unfortunatley there isnt a LFC supporters club so cant join them. There is a Man U but dont think hubby and kids eould appreciate seeing them lol.
Thanks for all your suggestions guys, we'll get there eventually :)

You need to join the membership scheme in order to get tickets. However this comes at a premium per person, so it's probably not worth your while joining that if you want to go this year as the ticket office aren't particulary knowing for their speed of service.

Please don't buy for inflated prices from touts, they are in it for the money and not the love of the game

Take them to see their local team. Not only will it be more affordable but the money will go to a proper football club and not feed the lifestyle/debt of Americans with no real interest in 'soccer'.

I think it is every parents responsibilty to not let their kids become glory supporters.

Went to see Liverpool against Everton 1st leg FA cup, courtesy of E-on. Great atmosphere, great bunch of people, loved it - can't beat it! Keep trying, don't give up!

P.S. Don't even think about the Man (k) Ushited!

They're both desperate to see Torres & Gerrard so going to watch the reserves wont be the same, plus we've got 2 1/2 - 3hrs drive! I'll keep trying. Can any of you guys help me - Can i only buy tickets using a fancard? Do i need to have a fancard for each ticket i want to purchase?
