WANTED: Loan of a XBOX 360 Vision Camera

A somewhat of a bizarre request: I am looking to borrow an XBOX 360 Vision Camera.

Heres the story: Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise was delivered today and after reading the achievement list I found out that a couple of the achievements require you to scan a card into the game using the Vision Camera. I think its a stupid achievement and its sole reason for being there is so Microsoft can sell you a lame peripheral for a ridiculous price.

Anyway, ever the completionist, I want to get those achievements, but I dont want to buy something Ill never use again after this.

So, Im looking for a very generous individual to loan me theirs for a day while I scan in 10 of these stupid cards. I obviously will cover postage both ways via Recorded Delivery.

Hopefully someone can help me out!

To celebrate the release of Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise we are having a treasure hunt, or rather a Pinata Hunt.

Thats right, thanks to our friends at XCN we have managed to obtain 25 unique Pinata's which can be printed off and then scanned directly into the game using the Xbox Live vision camera. If you look hard enough you should be able to find the Pinatas spread around both wonderwallweb.com and wonderwallwebforums.com, so get looking and don't forget to let us know how many you find. :)

@LeonRivers So far I think its better than the original. I absolutely loved VP1 and spent hours building my garden, but VP2 is essentially VP1 with added extras and new pinatas - so its a thumbs up in my opinion

@hodsey77 Thanks for the heads up hodsey77, I'll have to check that out!

It'd be just my luck that it'd die with the ring of death whilst I was looking after it, lol! I wouldn't dare borrow one, just in case!

had a premium, got a elite as wanted a blank one to match tv and have hdmi, then saw the low prices being fetched for premiums so decided to keep and use as a media extender in the bedroom. xboxes depreciate quicker than new cars

Got to say that that is the craziest thing I have ever heard just to get an achievement.

You ruined it....you should of just left it or said something like
"no you don't hehe".

It's only an achievement...sometimes I wonder if people would even play these games at all if it weren't for achievement points.
#14
aaaah your lucky getting it early! can't wait to play this one....loved the 1st...and yeah that achievment is pretty daft imo :P

jbarnett i take it u got a ps3 then,u get trophy system soon, see how it changes games then, its a great addition to gaming,i personally have 47250, i dont buy games to get points, but it does make me get more of my moneys worth from them, but i think alot of devs are now using them to sell games, but i dont think many would pay £40 for 1000 gamerscore, and i think the gamerscore does say alot about the gamer, depending on what games the score is from,as some are Damn hard to get.
#16
yep like 1000g in halo

Nope, I have a 360 actually. I do think gamerpoints are a good idea in general, however I resent the lengths some people go to try and get them. One example particular, the grenade tag achivement in GoW, I don't think I need to explain why it's annoying when you're playing against people who are trying to get it.

Also, people renting games just for an easy 1000 points.

People (particularly on the xbox360achievements.com forum) deciding a game is good/bad based on their achievements.

Some games definitely have implemented them well, for example the achievements in Orange Box are interesting and varied. Also, in Mass Effect I like how unlocking the achievements gives you perks, for example getting 100 shotgun kills allows you to add the shotgun skill to any future characters, reaching level 50 gives you 5% extra experience earned etc...

I just find it amazing the lengths some people will go to, in many cases repeating a boring task again and again, just to increase the number next to their name.
