Looking to replace my old HP laptop which is sat at death's door.

Mostly use it for video editing and some Photoshop work, so I'd like it to have at least 8GB of RAM and a decent sized HDD.

Would prefer it if it runs at a good temperature, my old laptop would overheat really easily (even when it's just on the desktop with nothing running)

Can pay via PayPal or BT

Let me know what you have :)

What is your budget?

I have an i5 (4th Gen) Asus Laptop that has 8gb ram,but comes with 2 problems.
Problem 1: The DVD/CD tray button is stuck in & Windows for some reason does not recognize it.
Problem 2: The USB port on the right side is not working & shows an error when i insert my flash pen.

Comes in original box & in very good condition.

I have a 2 year old boy & not sure if he has pressed the button hard on the DVD/CD player :-)

DVD drive isn't an issue as I haven't used one in years. How many other working USB ports does it have? Do you have the model number so I can see the specs?

Noob question here, will all my USB2.0 cables/devices work in the USB 3 slots?

And how much are you wanting for it?
#9
You can still use the USB 3.0 ports but you'll not obviously get the speed of that a USB 3.0 can give & will just give the speed of a 2.0

Make an offer & remember delivery as well.

I have a Dell Latitude E4200 which is a much older model but very thin and light (including a SSD). Looking for £40 + delivery.

No clue what its worth, especially with the damage to the USB port and DVD drive. How's £250 sound?

I would not take £250 bud as that's a little high due to faults.£180 delivered :-)
I'll get back to you later as going to get dinner for kids.
#14
Haha, Can't argue with that :) Should of checked your past posts before offering a price.

So did this not sell a month ago? Looks like payment was sent

The buyer paid & then messaged me about the USB port not working & the DVD/CD button being pushed in.
I have a 2 year old boy & not sure if he pressed the button hard for it to go in the way & not sure if you can fix it.
The USB port was working, but why it's not now is a mystery.
The laptop still runs perfectly & you can't even hear it when it's on as the fan & temps are great.

Fair Enough, just curious about it.

I'll make do with 2 USBs and no DVD drive (My current laptop doesn;t have one anyway)

Do you want to send over your payment details?
#17
Sent you PM details Nathan.

BUMP

Bought the Asus laptop, but looking for another for my brother. Can be a little lighter in terms of power as it'll be used mostly for school work. Preferably 4GB of RAM and a decent sized HDD
