Hi, thanks for the reply, I'm mainly going to be using this machine for game app development, dyou think 128gb is good enough?

You can upgrade the storage (though will void warranty)
Another option is to use a fast SD card permanently inserted into the laptop. Can get a 128GB one for not too much and would be enough to store assets for your games I'd have thought if you wanted to save a bit.

Hey, so do you think the one rafi linked to is a good choice? I think I will most likely get one of those cards that can be put in as I've been searching around for them too

Ahh I see, thanks for that, I don't mind a bit of wear and tear so that should be ok, this looks like a good option and probably something I'm going to order tomorrow

I have one in my MacBook air (needs a certain smaller adapter so it doesn't stick out).

Mine is a 128GB SSD with 8GB RAM and i5-4250u which isn't nearly as powerful as the one suggested above and in the last 3 years it hasn't skipped a beat. I don't think the i7 is worth it personally and you won't need dedicated graphics for iOS development. I've done a bit of iOS development (but not games) and it doesn't struggle.

Bare in mind if you do go for CEX you can often buy CEX credit on this site for 80% of face value meaning you could end up paying £532 for it if you wait for the credit to be available.

Maybe

I have 256GB and i have Sierra installed, with Parallels with Windows 10, and Adobe Creative Photogrpahy Plan (Photoshop & Lightroom) as well as some other photography stuff,

I backup all my photos onto external HDD and Cloud Storage, so i go over the 128 when importing but without the photos on my drive I have 150GB Free if i had the 128GB model I would only have about 30GB free.

But you can buy something like a Nifty Drive and use a micro SD in the SD card slot as a seperate drive. so you could potentially add 256GB of storage.
