Theres an old couple I know who fancy a CD player . I was explaing to John who's 95 about CD's being the in thing for playing music as he has some old cassette tapes and hasn't got a player .I have a load of Clasical stuff he was interested in if only he had a CD player . I've checked the Argos catalogue and the cheapest one is only about £15 , but I was thinking if anyone on the forum had an working player they dont need . Nothing flash , just a CD player with a radio and powered by the mains or battery . Dont want for nowt either ................will pay for it by PP gift .
Just thought it would be a nice supprise for John who's a smashing chap who looks after his disabled wife .
tell me what you have .please .

No , no DVD player either , nor video . They both just watch freeview . The chap did buy a DAB radio but can now only take batteries , the mains feature is not working and they dont get out to replace batteries .

Sounds OK and the price seems very reasonable .Is it easy to operate ? ,remember the chap is 95 years old and not technicaly minded at all . Was hoping for something similar to the one pictured above , but I did say ...tell me what you have ......after all .cheers

That looks very nice , it was for the CD realy but the tape deck is an added bonus , as the chap has some cassettes and cannot play them .As long as it's in working condition I'll take it at your asking price of £10 inc .delivery .
Hope PP gift is OK ?
