WANTED: Max power tool battery/pandora battery

Looking to borrow one, just thought I'd try if someone is generous enough to do so. I'll pay £2 for postage fees and I will send it back myself after a day. I have already made the magic memory stick so it'll take me a day only. I originally bought the one from Amazon but I think its faulty because it doesn't power on or get to the service menu.

Thx, Samy

tell you what to do with your one from Amazon, just plug it in and then put the AC lead in to the PSP it should start to work then.
Also, how did you make your magic memory stick, there is a specific way of doing that, if you don't do it right it wont always work.

Did you get the battery charged enough?

Once the battery and the memory card are plugged in, if the battery is completely dead, plugging the mains charger in will get it going, but if the memory stick has not been made correctly then there is no hope of it working full stop.

Its faulty, I charged it for over 2 hours. I then put it in the psp and no response, didnt get to the service menu (with/without the memory stick inside the psp). I'm sure I got the battery charged enough. I'm definite thats its faulty, you wouldn't believe the different combinations I have tried and albeit with no success, its like the battery's dead.

Does the battery light come on at all?Orange or green or anything?

Yeah, it does but it won't turn on nonetheless. It will stay charging for hours but it never gets to the service menu.

Would you mind letting me borrows yours just for a day?

If you have any form of light your battery is fine, you have made the magic memory stick wrong mate, I'll find the link to something and get back to you, nice and simple this bit ;)

Dude... trust me its not working. Even if I never had a magic memory stick, the pandora battery should boot up to the service menu and say "insert memory stick" as I have seen before, but it doesn't get to that stage at all, this has nothing to do with the memory stick. The pandora battery itself does not boot up to the service menu even after charging.

The pandora battery DOES NOT put anything up on the screen, all the software is on the memory stick, if you plug ion a normal pandora battery to a PSP without the memorystick you will get NOTHING!!!

Service mode only comes about because of the combination of the TWO of them, it will not do the downgrade if you are lacking either one or the other.

I have to make one of these tonight for a friend, so if you want I will help you redo yours, that's if you want to?

How come that when I first got the pandora battery and I put it in when it first arrived, the screen said "Insert memory stick"? I'm guessing its cos its not the handmade one so it has a different system. My pandora battery was working at that point, but the next day when I tried it wasn't working so I guessed it was out of charge, so I charged it multiple times with the memory stick & without and nothing happened, I am telling you Mike there is a inherent problem with the battery I have at hand that is beyond my control.

Well, I personally think it is your memory stick that is at fault, I may be wrong, but I don't really trust datel with the whole "Tool" battery thing anyway, as they just stole the idea from team Noobz any how!
If you want to try and make the card again let me know, if not then your on your own, there is only so much help I can try and give you.

I give up, my offer of help is hereby retracted, I have better things to do than try and help people who don't want it,

Mike..
