My dad has seen my Mac mini and really wants something like it.
He basically wants it for watching films, Burning cds/dvds, internet and wants a wireless mouse/keyboard.

Im going to buy it him for his birthday (october 14th) but havent got the money to buy another mac mini.

I would recommend the acer revo. It comes with linux, and you can watch HD films on it (.mkv files) it does not have a cd drive, but you can buy an external one for about £20-30. It has a very low power supply, and is very quiet. I have one connected to the main tv just for watching movies, it is great.

You could build your own Mini ITX based solution for £300, or I'll build it for you if you pay me :p
