I know its obvious to most of us but its worth saying, what about OpenOffice?

Although I dont know what you need it for so I cant say if it does what you want.

EDIT : Just noticed you want to pay £10, no offence but I think your dreaming.

An open source alternative, Google it and you can download it for free.

Oh, I thought everyone knew OpenOffice, sorry. Its like word but FREE :)

I think you will be lucky to pick up a normal version for under £50 so I would recommend the Software4Students if you still need office. If not, OpenOffice is good :)

There's Abi-Word too ....................if you just want to type letters etc .It's totally free too . Doesn't have any fancy built in clipart or anything like that ,but it's a good for word proccesing and beter than notepad.

Yes, you can view and edit Office documents in OpenOffice. There's an equivalent Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. and all free.
