Wanted: mini DV camcorder!

Spent 200 quid about 3 years ago on a brand new JVC one. It had that lense fault that a lot of them had. They said they'd fix it for free but never did. Anyhow i've got a lot of old mini dv tapes and some of my da who's sadly now passed away. I'd like a dv camcorder to take all this footage onto computer. I know there's other ways but i wouldn't mind the camera to keep soo.....

Anyone got any mini dv camcorders they'd like to sell as i know everyones moving on to new formats?

Smaller and lighter the better! cheers, show me what you got!

links about it:

i used it to record 2 student films and for nothing else. It has been collecting dust for a while.

Come with battery, charrger, tape and bag. £100

I might be able to get you a Sony one, there is a small dot on the bottom of the lens that shows up when you record video, it is easily ignored it and it wouldn't affect the playback of your tapes.

sorry mate thats way too much. quick check on fleabay says ones in very good condition with all accessories going for around 40 quid. I could get a brand new better spec one for 100 quid.:whistling:

still way too steep man. I can get it for 40 on ebay, with more extra's than you're offering. amazon has reviews from 2002 so its obviously more than 8 year old technology(although your particular one might not be that old).

If you value it that high its probably worth more to keep it man. Things usually go for less on here than they do on ebay and they aren't even shifting there.

don't want you to think i want something for nothing. Its just the going rate seems about 40 notes and even then i'd have to see what else is offered to me.

Have you got a link? The only one i can see is an auction( 160335874619). Mine has all the stuff you see there minus an extra battery, but mine has a case. I could throw in a tripod.

But if you arnt interested ill just wack it on ebay oneday.

this one didn't sell at 45 quid.

260411017840

this went for 41.

If i kept an eye out for a week or two i'm sure i'd get one under 40. Times are tight for all of us or i'd do you a favour.

Wait looks like the 45 one is the same one, relisted obviously as it didn't sell at 45 quid. doesn't look like its gonna sell at that either now.

don't need tripod or case mate. I've actually got every jvc accessory already from old camera.

Compared to a 1080p Hard Drive recorder?

How did you work that out?
