Hi guys,

I'm after a NAS enclosure, possibly a NAS drive.

I have a load of stuff for sale, so could trade.

Ideally looking at under £30.20 as that's what I have right now in my Paypal account!

Newlink Network HDD enclosure - £28.19 Inc VAT. Delivery is a bit steep, but still £35.21 delivered.

Thanks for that - I get free delivery from Scan through Hexus, so just need to bump the order over £30!

You're a star, rep given

Isn't Scan free over £20? and if you look at the Hexus Bargain forum they have a NAS for £20ish http://www.saverstore.com/productinfo/Product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=20008725&rstrat=12708

Thanks, DigiGuru!

Robotochan

Wow, what a price! I take it is also based on RDC chipset as Newlink?

Rep given to you too Robotochan!

My only worry is with Savastore, having recently gone into receivership and been bought out, I'm a little hesitant to hand over my money

Any other options from anyone?

I have no idea about the chipset Kommunist, wish I did.

I actually bought this one a week ago and it has worked pretty damn well, the fan is quite loud though: Dual SATA HDD NAS Network Attached Storage Enclosure/PrintServer £65 Works out quite reasonable as the price of 2 NAS's and a Print Server is about £60 - £65. Also a IDE type for the same price

Can get this one: Sumvision 3.5" NAS USB2.0 IDE Hard Drive Enclosure
For £26 delivered if you use Super Saver Delivery and use the £10 of £30 offer by going through Google Checkout: Post On Hexus

PS: Thanks For The Feedback :D

PSS: You could also put together a low powered PC out of old components if you have enough lying about or can get your hands on them cheaply and use the FreeNAS software, I built a well overspecced PC for £25, had to build it into a cardboard box though :D

I wonder if FreeNAS can work on an XBOX :D heh
