Hi,

I'm after a netbook, preferably a dell mini 10v, but open to others.

Not bothered about windows, but prefer decent battery life.

Cheers, Tom

which version is it? And which colour? Thanks

Hi,
It's Model Number: AOA 150-Aw.

White - 1GB ram - 120GB Hard drive. Linux.
I only used it in the house a few times, so it's in mint condition. Easy enough to put a different operating system on it, but it was my first experience with Linux and I quite liked it.

This looks like it here:

I have a HP Mini 311. Used for 7 months or so, so still in warrenty. Took it traveling with me but now I'm back so I've bought a dell 14z and looking to recoup some of the money back.

In good condition, though there are scratches on the bezel around the monitor and on the outside, also a couple of black marks on the mouse and palm rest where the bezel has rubbed against. Sounds worse than it looks, just want to be honest.

Has ION, 11.6" screen etc so a bit more than your average netbook.

Looking for around £210 delivered or so.

Hi,

I'm quite interested, any chance you could post a couple of pics of the scuffs?

Thanks, tom

Give me a minute and I'll take a few.

Update: Camera is dead - so will charge the battery for 10 minutes and try again. Had a chance to take a couple before it died and it doesn't show the scratches on the cover very well at all. To be brutally honest and not leave you dissapointed, the black top is covered in small surface scratches with several slightly deeper ones, only the deep ones show up unless you put it under the light.

I will try and get some up of the bezel and mouse pad in 10 minutes or so. I have also checked and the screen has a few horizontal scratches on, nothing deep and tbh you don't notice them at all with the laptop on but they do show up in the light.

I'm making it sound really bad, its not, but I hate buying an item in "good" condition to find it wasn't properly described.

Update 2: Here are some photos, I have some more if needed.

Got it her for Xmas, and its never left the house and has only been turned on a dozen of so times - she tends to browse on her iPhone (hence the possible purchase of an iPad).

Its the Metallic Cocoa Brown version with silver keyboard and its a higher resolution screen than a standard netbook, so looks stunning in use. Its also had a ram upgrade to 3gb meaing it flies along. As standard it has wireless 'N'.

Here's a link to an image of the model in question... http://www.hdd.com.pl/zdjecia/56566/MOB/NOT/MOBSONNOT0193/4.jpg

And the sony page http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/specifications/index.aspx?m=VPCW12S1E_T&l=en_GB

Will upload pics of the actual thing if you're interested, but it's boxed, complete, and absolutely MINT condition

As for price - if she does decide to sell (will know later today) i'd be looking for £225 delivered.

It handles everything i've thrown at it so far included linking up my old hd dvd xbox 360 drive so it can read discs

250gb hard drive

fast connection speed

plus its way better than using my htc hero all day long lol

it does look quite good, but the price is more than I would want to pay for a machine with this spec

Anyone have anything available?

If not netbook, maybe small notebook with ULV processor?
#16
I realise mine has quite a few scratches but would a movement in price affect your decision?
