Unlocked is ideal as this needs to be used on 3. If locked, no big deal as codes are only 99p on the bay.

Must be boxed, etc, in excellent condition.

No offence ment, but if you think you will get one for £70 your sadly mistaken

Worth a punt ... always start low :-p

£70 for second hand one sounds reasonable to me. People were getting £20 or £30 discounts off the £109.99 original price (which included £10 top-up).

CeX will only give you £54 so, as I say, £70 sounds about right to me. Were you not able to get a new one with discount directly from Orange, TUSSFC?

You done a search on the forum as I've seen at least 2 for sale this week :-)

No...he isn't. Anyone who tries hard enough can get a BRAND NEW one for £79 (and that includes £10 credit) by calling Orange and mentioning you have been with them on PAYG (or just find someone that is on PAYG Orange and give their number, maybe a family friend etc). This will give you a £30 discount, if you're persistant enough in asking. You may have to try calling a few times. I think it's more than possible that a second hand one could be sold for £70. People on here + on eBay are trying to rip people off (and it's working as suckers are purchasing it for sums of up to £160 without doing basic research like GOING ON THE OFFICIAL SITE)...anyway rant over lol, good luck hope you get one for your asking price...I am also on the lookout.

Out of interest, do you have to have had the PAYG SIM for a while, or could I just get one today and then call them?

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can just get one today and give them that number! Or, to be sure, you could just give them the number or a friend/family member who has been on Orange PAYG a while.

I have one. Unlocked, software unbranded, rooted, with a custom rom.

It's effectively brand new. It's only been taken out of the box to do the above to and it hasn't been used aside.

However, seeing as it cost £110 (hell you can have the £10 topup if you want it), and I've done a ton of extra stuff to it (hence why I can't return it) I'd want a return of £90 for it.

Hi - sorry but my budget will not stretch that far :-( I'm not bothered about the £10 topup - I'm sure you could sell that separately here for £7ish?

I can offer £75 delivered.

Or I have an LG Cookie to offer in part exchange. Boxed, unlocked, pretty much brand new. I would look at valuing the Cookie at £35.
I also have a 500GB external HDD to trade, valued at £30 in a trade.

Why not just purchase a new one for £90 ?

£15 difference is hardly gonna make a difference

If I had £90 to spend I would. I'm stretching my budget at £75 - and even then I'll be selling my Cookie afterwards to get some of that back :-)

No problem.

To be honest, I said I'd want a return of £90. That means after all fees, and postage I'd want £90 so I'll leave it. I won't lower that price, I'm happy to keep it, great phone for the budget price!

OK, fair dos. Assume you're not interested in either of the trades above then?

I have a HTC HD Mini coming in a couple of days - interested in trading that + cash at all?
It's on Vodafone, so should be unlocked.

Why not just call up Orange and order a brand new one for £79? You must know SOMEONE on Orange PAYG, just keep calling them until they give you the £30 discount

Isn't the discount from your Phone Fund i.e. you get £1 back to spend on a phone upgrade per £10 you've spent on top-ups? Orange sims have to be registered to get activated on the network, so no point pretending you're an existing customer when they ask your security questions?

Confused .. does this mean you have to have topped up £300?

I would be interested in the HD Mini. When are you getting it? And I'd need to know if it was locked or not. How much cash would you be adding?
#18
It would be coming in the next couple of days (order was placed last night for a contract - normally next day del).

And I was looking for cash from you mate - the HTC is worth a lot more than the San Fran! They go for around £220-230 on eBay.

Oh I see. Your post said trading the HD Mini + cash, not the other way around lol.

To be honest, if that's how much you can get on eBay for it, do that. Taking into account the San Francisco also goes for about £170 on eBay despite it being much less at Orange!

May as well ask, how much cash would you want?!
