I have an x1800xt available. It's the most powerful card offered so far on this thread. Use this to compare:

Looking for £30, will probably deliver first as you have good feedback.

depends what he want it for really though,i imagione the list u provided is for gaming?
i find ati alot better for HD processing as it does it all on its own,so the cpu not being used to encode even bluray/1080p videos.

i used to have the card u got ,its a decent card though

I have a Powercolor overclocked 4870 1GB

I'm not sure how Tom's Hardware ranks cards but I like the fact that they present it in tiers so you don't get hung up on the fact that one card might have a 2% lead over it's rival in certain games. It's nice to simplify it so that your eyeballs only notice the difference between each band.

Yeah, it's a decent card and will still play pretty much anything out there at a decent res. I'm only selling mine as someone bought me an upgrade.

I could possibly go lower if you can give me a link to that 4890 :)

Only joking, only selling to upgrade so need to make it worth my while or I might as well hang onto it. Every game I play is maxed out anyway, it's just my fascination with graphics cards that prompted me to post.

Sorry, no chance at that price. I'll stick at my price as postage will cost me a few quid and I'm not just giving it away :)

Thought you meant new. Well that guy certainly got a bit of a bargain there.

The card I have has the upgraded cooling and is quite overclockable but considering you offered £65 for that, I think I am out of this one. Cheers:thumbsup:

Okay, what would be a reasonable price to ask for? Are you interested in buying it?

I think it is a bit too power hungry for me, thanks though
#25
Fair enough, though it's a lot less power hungry than the 4xxx series which you're looking for. Let me know if you become interested again.

4850 doesn't use 275 watts :-P
#27
Neither does the x1800xt...
http://archive.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=7&t=9354
103W at peak, 30W at idle. The site also lists the 4850 as being more power hungry. I know because I was considering an upgrade to the 4850 and my PSU wasn't up to scratch.

I looked here
#29
Okay...then you should have found:

HD4850 41W-61W-110W
X1800 XT 30W-52W-103W

Lower power consumption for the 1800xt all around. But if you're looking for something that needs less power, I'd recommend the 4770 which, though not listed on the website, is reported very friendly for power supplies :)

Edit - corrected spelling mistake
