i want any kind of pci graphics card that will overwrite my onbard graphics which no longer works.

Cheapest as i dont intend to play games etc.

Pull any pci card from an old machine. most people just chuck them so it's not even worth paying postage for one. One of your mates or someone in your family must have an old pc lying around in their loft. Failing that people just put dead PCs in skips or take them to the dump so keep a Phillips screwdriver in your pocket and go scavenging!

The other question is how do you know onboard graphics is dead? Do you get anything on power up screen? Is monitor and monitor cable definitely ok?

yh nothing comes up on the screen etc. tried different monitors etc.

I need just a PCI, all my mates and family have lappers.

my computer does not take pci-e sorry

What Dell PC model do you have? An AGP card might do, & these are much more common than PCI cards.

sorry it's a 64bit not 64Mb :p, very old tech, 10+ years, but in working order as far as I know.
