i've been upgrading a dell gx110. and am still using the onboard i810 graphics.

i'm on linux and have managed to make it work with opengl. only prob is, the card is rubbish, might do quake 3 but nothing any better.

i need a respectable pci card that would suit a 1ghz p-III (soon to be 1.4ghz) with 512mb pc133. so nothing too fancy,as the psu is only small (145W i think) so the radeon 7000 and radeon 9250 that i see on ebuyer would prob not have enough power to run :(

ideally want to spend £20 , just to recap i don't need an AGP or PCI-Express card :)

i might have one somewhere but i dont think the spec will be any good, maybe a 32mb one!

that would probably do as its not for running modern games anyway. let me know what you've got if you find any lying around, the one its gots now only 32mb anyway i think

i'm sorted now, got me a ati rage ii+dvd and a radeon 7000 64mb from ebay for a grand total of £22 :) sorted
