WANTED: Pentium Dual Core s775 Processor

I am looking for a cheap upgrade.

Ideally I want an e2160 or e2180, but one of the older Pentium D will suffice so long as the price is right.

If the chip has been overclocked can you tell me what frequency was achieved and the voltage required.

Let me know what you have available

Cheers,

Ian

I have lots of feedback on other forums/online communities

I have a Core 2 Duo E6300 id let go for £50 + delivery. Please note that its a lapped CPU and it runs 3.5ghz fine at 1.5v. I have been running it at 3.08ghz with 1.35v and temps are around 40C at load using an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro. The VID voltage is 1.325v.

All voltages are in BIOS voltages, so obviously the real voltages are a bit lower due to vdrop and vdroop. Around 0.05-07v for my motherboard.

Ghost, it sounds a very good CPU but with it being overclocked so much I'm not so keen on it, but thanks for the offer - I may still get back to you though... unless you can do it for £45 delivered :)

Rosco, thanks for the offer but thats more than I'd be willing to pay for a D-type CPU, considering the age, heat and performance. But thanks for the offer.

Cheers [still open to offers],

Edited post, I just don't know whether people check their PMs often.

Apologies for all parties involved.
