Looking to get playtv for my ps3. Checked in ToysRus today and they have plenty of copies for £30, so would be looking for cheaper than that.

Let me know what condition it's in and your price.
Shipping/Payment:
Payment by BT preferred, but can do paypal gift.

Thanks for the offer, but for the sake of £1.25 I'd rather have the option to take back to store if anything goes wrong. Thanks tho!!

What do you think of it now that you've got it? Is it worth the money? It says you can watch one and record one, does that mean you can only record one thing at time?

It is def well worth it, and i am only using a portable Ariel so dont get all the channels, I have ITV 2 & 3 but not ITV 1 thats rubbish but not the PlayTVs fault. I have Virgin BTW, but use this too.
It is great thou, the menu works really well, and you can only record 1 thing at a time, but least you can watch something else at the same time, i think you can only record 1 thing at a time cos of the speed of the HD and USB cable, and the PlayTV does FreeviewHD and i have not seen another FreeviewHD box yet, so that is great too :)

Up to you mate, Toys R Us dont issue refunds on their products if it's been used. And wouldnt even offer me an exchange. The worst customer service I've ever experianced. They stated if it didnt work with my airel I was entitled to a refund but that employee wasnt there when I wanted to return it back. Will pop it on ebay anyways.

Savings of £1.25 ain't worth it TBH. Was looking to get it for less than £25 to make it worht my while, so we will never agree on a price.

Can't see why it wouldn't work, have freeview at the moment and the signal is great, so no reason (knock on wood) why it wouldn't work.

Good luck on the bay

Hi mate just wondering where you got that info about playtv being compatible with Freeview HD. I thought it only had a DVB-T tuner. Freeview HD in the UK will need a DVB-T2 tuner. Am i mistaken?

You are correct. PlayTV is not compatible with FreeviewHD in the UK when its released. It only works with other areas in Europe that still use DVB-T for FreeviewHD.

Want to get one of these myself but understand it doesn't come with a remote control. What's it like using the PS3 controller to control freeview?
