best if you buy a new one with warranty. Our Hozelock pump broke down 3 times while it was in warranty.

We have had ours for about 2 years. and it has just given up. - for the first 6 months, its fine, but after that, you are cleaning it every month, and in a mingin pond this is not a nice task.

I would buy an external pump / filter, I think its cheaper !

if you clean it when you are meant to it wont break and your pond wouldn't be "mingin" mine is 6000gallons and it's clean enough to drink from because i clean it properly.

The reviews seem good for the hozelock easy claer 3000 and often should the filter be cleaned ?
