That link is a desktop drive and is available in Comet for 34.99 http://www.comet.co.uk/p/3.5-inch-Desktop-Hard-Drive/buy-HITACHI-XL-500-DESKTOP-3.5-inch-Desktop-Hard-Drive/665649

Problem with a portable drive is that a lot require both USB ports of the Wii to be used for the power supply due to the 500ma limit of a USB socket and the 1A requirement of a lot of drives. This means you can't then use any remote chargers or microphones etc. from the second Wii USB socket.

The Hitachi drive works well and is quite quiet but of course needs a second mains power supply (being a desktop drive). Also for the extra 10 it would be worth getting a 1TB drive e.g. http://www.comet.co.uk/p/3.5-inch-Desktop-Hard-Drive/buy-HITACHI-XL-1TB-DESKTOP-3.5-inch-Desktop-Hard-Drive/665584

Go for a small size drive, i think the orangeshop deals, might be worth a look (i tried to find but failed)

We have a 250gb WD passport format = WBFS 77 games has used a little over half the 232gb

http://www.orangeaccessories.co.uk/s1_mini_portable_hard_drive_250gb_ocean_blue.html?npc=25

orange10 for a further 10% off

Check this drive works with wii first, plenty of sites have a list of known working drives
