I'm after anything really what do you have. The cheaper the better. I'm looking for books on languages and application. In particular SQL and associated practices. Thanks

I've got loads of programming books, what are you after?
#3
I've got Object First with Java 4th edition if your interested

I have a book teaching C++ using MFC which you are welcome to if you can cover the carriage costs. I also recall having a Java 1.2 book somewhere. I know it's very old but still it can serve as an aid to the fundamentals of the language. Once again, the book is yours if you would like it.

OK, I will be in contact soon regarding C++/MFC. If you are looking for a good book in ASP and C#, try Pro ASP.NET 3.5 in C#2008 by Apress Publishing. The content is unequivocally written and covers newer technology such as LINQ and Silverlight. As it appears that database work could be fundamental to your line of work, LINQ is an incredibly powerful way to apply SQL like commands to your C# data structures and collections.
