ok if customs dont inspect the package as that will add about £50 to the price. Not to mention the hassle if it breaks down.

Will I be charged import taxes and duties?

Possibly yes. However, taxation and import duties might not be applied if customs does not inspect your package. The shipping company will also make a difference as to whether tax is charged or not.

We have no control of whether import tax is levied on your purchase or not. If your country elects to charge you import sales tax, you are responsible for paying your own taxes. Some customers lower the invoice value during check out for import tax reason. Please note that this may make you liable for tax evasion, and if the package is lost in transit, we will only reimburse you for the amount that you elected on your invoice.

Lowering invoice values for avoiding taxes is considered illegal in many countries and may carry stiff penalties. We do not take any responsibility for this and you must understand that you will adjust the invoice value for your own benefit at your own risk. By default, we will always put the true and full value of your purchase on your shipping invoice.
