I have one that has a broken ribbon connector on motherboard side so bluray drive doesnt work. Could be interested in selling. Its a 60gb model though, so would be looking at more money.

Would be looking at £100 plus delivery.

If you dont mind, please could you answer a few of my questions.

Does your PS3 have any other faults? Or has it suffered from any other faults?
How old is your PS3?
Has it ever suffered from YLOD?
How did the ribbon connector break?
How much would you accept without the HDD?

Thanks

No other faults. Never suffered anything else.
Its a launch model, 3-5 years old. Can't remember the exact date of purchase.
Never had ylod.
Broke when a game got jammed in the drive. Removed the lid of the ps3 to remove the bluray drive, but snapped the ribbon connector clip when i lifted dvd drive out.
I have no need for the hdd, and me selling without it will have little bearing on the price (As its such a small, worthless drive). Say, £90 plus delivery.

Sorry but your asking price is too much, I can buy a fully working PS3 on 3.41 for £115 delivery included.

The reason why I want a PS3 with a faulty bluray drive is because they are cheaper to buy and im short of cash.

I could do it for cheaper if I were to keep the bluray drive, but as it is, faulty 60gb ps3s are still selling for £100 upward on a certain auction site.
