Dunno what firmware - I had issues with it (the router) but I believe it to be 100% ok and actually a problem with my laptop, as a new router didn't resolve the problem (am on wired connection now) and the PS3 wireless was fine on either router

Not sure, I have described the problem. Will do it for £10 delivered if you want to take a punt. I am 100% sure it gave a wireless network which both my laptop and the ps3 connected to, but the pc dropped the connection anywhere from 1 minute to 6 hrs in, and so I ordered another brand new router from virgin (free). I had the same issue, so i think it is a vista issue / or an issue specific to my laptop (ie fault on the laptop)
