As title i'm looking for some xbox 360's that have or had RROD, I only want one with RROD if a repair attempt has already been made as I don't have a drill to make the holes bigger.

and it's just the console and non-hdmi. Thanks

i have a xbox 360 with rrod and a metal case if its any interest to you,
do you want the console with case or just the insides.

its a non hdmi console with a benq drive
will do it for the 30gig ipod and u cover the postage of the console

so say the ipod and £7?
i can put it in a metal case that has had the holes drill too if u want

what fix have u tried with the ipod

i also have a hdmi console that needs xclamp and some pads putting on the ram chips.

I haven't tried fixing any tbh my dad likes to buy these things from car boot sales so I get given the ones that dont work when he gets home lol. The only one i've messed around with is the nano as I have the same one with a broken screen but when I tried to merge them into one the screens were different connectors. Give me pcs and consoles to fix any day.

I haven't tried fixing the video ipod but when my dad gave me it, it was opened so all I did was put it back together and charge it but nothing happened. I don't need one as i've got another ipod so I haven't been bothered with it tbh.

I didn't really want to pay anything out other than postage on items sent at the moment.
I am mainly after hdmi consoles so how much would delivery be for the hdmi one?

Gonna try and get rid of some stuff and then might pay for postage as well mate. Where are you based?
Also how much would just the metal case part that the motherboard sits on be? I need it to be the hdmi one tho with holes drilled.

i can do the hdmi metal chassis and insides for straight swap if u want, but would need a day or 2 to drill it,you know the best way is to use a round file, keeps it smooth, i not got one though :(

I'll take the non hdmi console with the benq drive and the hdmi metal part with holes drilled into it for both ipods. Is it ok to meet up in Wigan as it would be cheaper than sending the ipods to you through the post.
#10
sure,deal it is
i have put the non hdmi with drilled holes in the case, with benq drive
heatsinks arnt on but u doing xclamp anyways so will just put them with it.
and drilling the hdmi case now

if i see any spare heatsinks or anything laying round i chuck em in too.

will pm meeting details, but it will be friday at time at trainstation
#11
pm'ed details of meet, look forward to meeting on friday mate.
#12
Cool thanks mate.
#13
i have a motherboard metal case and heatsinks from a non hdmi?
#14
i got a 360 RROD... but to fix mine (for the few days it worked) i didnt drill any holes?./.. why would you need to do that?....
#15
jenny forgot to tell u i am sending u the heatsinks from a falcon board as they better than the old ones that came on the xbox,u know the heatsinks microsoft add to them when u send them back.
alot better than the original ones
#16
u dont need to drill with the xclamps from ebay. just buy the artic silver thermal paste i did an now mine works a treat
#17
reason for drilling holes is to make sure that the board never bends again as its fixed firmly to the case, its a better fix as u are meant to xclamp it then once its been on for a while do it a bit tighter so the board is flat again and cannot bend as its fixed to the casing
#18
oh right ok i just thought some ppl drilled to get bolts to fit the heatsinks my mistake
#19
no its a very good fix, works very well for the e74 error as it bends the board back
