Wanted: Samsung S2, S3 or CEX Vouchers *Update - Still Looking 30 July*

taljmantaljman

I am looking to upgrade my phone and would like to weigh up my options and interested to hear what people have.

I am interested in either the samsung s2 or s3.

If this isn't possible then I might look to get some CEX vouchers and get one from there. Only interested in around approx £400 at 75% of face value.

Hi Nadeemnaz, Thanks for your offer. However, I feel that a price of £255 is very high. I say this because:

    1) s3's have sold on here for around the £350 mark so for £95 can get a almost new phone that maybe a few days-weeks old.

    2) Also, s2's have gone closer to the £200 mark

    3) can get a s2 from CEX with 12 month warranty for £240.

Sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off but just wanted to give justification for my initial comment. How old is the phone? Also, cex won't give you a great deal in terms of cash for your phone, maybe £170 or less. Any movement on price?

Hi Alex, thanks for the offer. I note on your thread that it is a year old, do you have any paperwork to confirm that? So have you owned it from new then? Also any movement on price? I ask as after adding postage then it will only be £15 less than cex but with no warranty.
    AlexWilla
I have had it since new. Got it on my contract which runs out in August.
No paperwork left unfortunately. It's been in a case with a screen protector since I got it.

Possible movement on price, I'm guessing that postage will be between 5 & 10 quid but open to offers considering that.

So approximately how old in months?
Just to lay my cards out on the table, for an s2 I'd be willing to spend around the £200 mark.

@taljman: no worries. Mines about 10months old but pristine condition as always been in a case with screen protector so no marks and scratches. Two cases included to SGP neo hybrid reventon yellow and a black silicon case. I have all the paper etc and receipt. mmm movement in price probably £235-240 in order to fund purchase of an S3...ino its probably a long shot

Reading your description sounds great, but if I'm spending close to the 250 mark then for another 100 or so could get an almost new s3.

I'm looking closer to the 200 mark. Any thoughts?

Just to clarify from the information that you have provided thus far, you bought this for £499 a few weeks ago but it has only been used for a few days? Also, any reason for selling the phone? I ask as I note from your feedback that you have recently also sold a brand new HTC ONE S.

I hope that I do not sound rude, but just wish to clarify a few points.

sure that's no problem...I bought it a few weeks ago and only used it for a coupe of days and been trying to sell it since...phone had too many features for me and I'm not keen on white phones and the pebble blue wasnt available when I got it...I'm a bit of a techno lover and go through a phone about 10 times a year and have since swapped to a Nokia lumia 900 which I'll probably keep for a little while then change again

    hope this helps

    thanks

    Thanks for that info.

I'm not too fussed about the colour tbh as most smart phones live in a case for their entire life. So would offer maybe £340 delivered for phone, box and original accessories with receipt. No need for case or blue back cover, which you could easily sell on here.

I couldn't drop below the £375 sorry £125 is the biggest hit i would be willing to take on the price and in kicking myself at that...the condition of it doesn't warrant the massive price drop...ive had a pm offering £365 which I've turned down already so i wouldn't be willing to drop below that

    Thanks
