WANTED: Single Slot PCI-e Graphics Card (better than 7600)

Looking for a single slot graphics card that is faster than my current 7600GT (it has a dual slot cooler on it and in a small case its a bit of a pain)

If anyone is looking to upgrade, or are selling anything better than a 7600GT (Nvidia or ATi) let me know.

Not looking to spend too much, but would like it to be relatively quiet as well :)

Cheers,

Ian

[PS. 256mb or greater]

What are the stock core and memory clock speeds of your 7800gt?

What make?

Does it need a P10 connector?

cheers

its not just about the speeds etc its mostly about pixel pipelines and the 7800 has 20 where the 7600 only has 12.

here is a link to my card

I've just replaced my BFG 7900GT OC (256mb) if that's any good to you. It only takes up a single slot and is factory overclocked for improved performance.

£65 all-in via Paypal. Make sure you've got a good power supply first though, unless you like weird polygon errors ;)

8800GT 512. Might be out of your price range though?

Wow a lot has happened since yesterday. From reviews the 7800 and 7600 are pretty much on par (tho the 7800 wins out on higher resolution and settings), but as I said a speed increase isn't too important.

@Leeredgie, how much would you be wanting for the x1800xt, can you confirm it is only single slot :)

@HutcheonS sorry but that is a bit more than I would be willing to pay, I am not looking to spend more than £50 and am keeping a watchful eye on prices on ebay :)

@sparkygeezer, cheers for the offer and sorry for the hassle you seem to have been given on the thread, again it is just a bit more than I would be willing to pay for the 7800

@Marchocias thanks for the offer, but the price seems a bit more than the going rate for them at the moment, and don't worry I have a good enough PSU for an 8800GT just not enough money :)

Cheers,

Ian

PS. csiman, not being rude, but any reason for you posting?

Is it? :? I must admit I did pluck a figure out of the air!

Feel free to make an offer if you'd like the card.
