Wanted: Smallish (17", 19", 20") DVI widescreen monitor

My current 17" monitor has died on me so I'm looking for a smallish 17", 19", 20" widescreen monitor. It is for coding and development purposes so I do not need a super high spec gaming monster. Currently I have a 23" monitor in the middle and a 17" widescreen monitors mounted vertically one side and a 4;3 monitor mounted on the other.

The monitor has to be mounted vertically to fit on a VESA stand on my desk and to cram as many lines as possible into Emacs :) The available space is limited so I can't squeeze a large monitor in next to the other monitors. Anything around 39 cm wide when mounted vertically should be OK. I could squeeze an extra couple of cm's if needed.

I would much prefer DVI input over VGA.

I would also prefer without speakers as that simply takes up valuable space and I'd never use them. Same for USB, though if its small enough I don't care.

So if you have an older monitor lying around I'll put it to good use. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money either, but you knew that :)

I live SE London and am happy to travel most places in London, though would prefer somewhere reasonably close to Greenwich if at all possible.

Does aspect ratio matter? I have an old 19"(I think) monitor, but it is 4:3 rather than your 16:9/16:10 screens now. Will check the width tomorrow (sleeping people in the room with it atm!!) If you are interested. I am up north though, so would probably have to courier it.

I have no use for it now, so if you want it can call it a tenner + postage, will probably come to £20ish if interested?

If I remember rightly though it is only VGA, however if needed I believe I have a spare DVI to VGA adapter as well

Thanks but wanted wide-screen so I can edit code with as many lines as possible. Also I don't think I can actually fit a 4:3 19" monitor in. I have a hard limit on screen width even when I angle the monitors and wall mount them :) Thats the reason for the 39cm width.

The lack of DVI is not a major hassle but it's a development computer and I write a lot of code so the landscape vs portrait format is important for me.
