Looking for an unlocked, unbranded C905.

They're £360 on orange payg in the CPW, but they come unlocked and unbranded, called to check that this afternoon. So obviously looking to pay less than that.

Please let me know your price. Thanks.

Good job you're not buying one then isn't it.

I've been hunting one of these at anything less than £385 for a fortnight now, and that price was for the black version from a website I've never heard of. If CPW are doing them for £360 sim free you won't do better than that for a month or so... that's when I think the prices will start edging down.

... and as of 5pm on 3 November 2008 CPw are charging £399.99 for the handset sim free. Should have ordered it last week...

and as of 5.10 I checked again and asked for PAYG instead of sim free. Sorry, you're right. £360 inc £10 airtime. Pity they don't have the silver...

I was going to get the samsung i8510 but i saw this...looks smart.

Key features?

Whats the crack with the web browsing?

Got one at CPW yesterday, orange payg but no orange software/marks on it. It actually hurt shelling out that much for a phone lol, but I'd gotten a tocco when I upgraded and sold that for £230 on ebay, so in actual fact it's only cost me £130.

Happy with it so far, haven't had chance to use the browsing yet. Only disappointment for me is the screen, I'd have liked a bit of a bigger screen, considering it's their flagship phone. Still, wasn't so much of an issue it stopped me buying it.

Getting this phone on the 17th.

I pay £130 on the 17th - but they credit me back £150.

i get 200min and unlimited texts for £15 a month. - so dont pay for the first 10 month :)

I am close to qualifying for an upgrade with Orange, so called them to see if I could get them to upgrade me a little early. Haggling got me to the Retentions department who would not upgrade me early but said, if I called back when I do qualify in ten days' time, I could get a free handset, and pay £35 a month for eighteen months with loads of calls and text plus UNLIMITED internet minutes. I was tempted... but £35 x 18 is a fork of a lot of money (£630), and to be honest I'm not out and about that much, and wouldn't use that many intermet minutes.

So I have instead bought a handset from a certain well-known internet auction site for £315. Note this auction site carries a lot of these handsets now, being sold off by people as unwanted upgrades. Caveat emptor - we know how dodgy them auction sites can be...

that was a terrible deal form orange because i could walk into a shop and get the same deal at the same price you should have pushed harder to get the calls/texts and internet for cheaper

And a warning about buying from a well known acution site i paid almost 200 pounds for a phone from there and 6months later the owner blocked it (insurance scam) and there was nothing i could do
#13
Shirt! Really? If you knew it was an insurance scam, couldn't you get in touch with the insurance company? if you had bought the phone in good faith and had the paperwork it would have been an open and shut case of fraud... you might not have got your money back but at least the seller would have been well stuffed.

Been on contract with them for a few year...

Cancelled.

It takes 30 days to cancel..

Within that time they send you a letter saying if you want to come back we can do good deal.

Phone them up saying whats the best? I dnt need that many mins etc.

:)

vengod: I got 200 mins + 100 texts for £25 and free phone so sounds a bit of a bum deal in comparison to yours. Still with Voda - have been for 4 years or so, so would have hoped for something a little better. I'm just a bit of an easy touch when it comes to stuff I fancy but don't need!

Being delivered monday so may well be pack in the post come tuesday... Unless the geek in me comes to the surface again... Heheh!

Wow was that a retention package or normal package... sounds very interesting! Whats the term of the contract?

Best orange would do for me was The dpolhin 35 (35 quid 600 mins U/L texts) for 25 quid, with a free tocco. So basically 10 pound off line rental... Does thats eems good to you considering i had already done 18 months with them?
