Wanted - Spiderman comics and similar

Hi, I'm after some Spiderman (and other superhero) comics for my son, as he's taken an interest in them and will help with his reading.

A few of the ones he knows about are:-

Spiderman
Fantastic Four
X Men
Silver Surfer
Wolverine
Hulk
Iron Man
Captain America
Avengers

Preferably I would like some of the older ones (from the 80s and 90s), as from the few he's got so far these seem to be a bit less serious with the stories (don't want them full of blood, guts and murder, as he's only 5).

I'm not looking to pay lots of money for them (I've just ordered quite a few for him online which worked out at about 50p each including delivery) so don't really want any collectable ones. Also, I don't mind if they're not in perfect condition as long as all of the pages are there).

Thanks xx

Don't think he'd be interested in those, he doesn't really like Harry Potter. Thanks though.

Have tons of month by month ones Spider-man ones i used to collect back around 2005ish. Not cheap, used to be around £3 each or something. They aren't magazines either, they usually had about 2 stories, 1 continuing one each month, and 1 retro one from the 80's.

Have tons. Depends how much you wanted to pay and for how many?

They sound like the English reprints I think, its the American releases that I'm after for him really (as the ongoing stories in the English ones will be reprints of modern American ones).

I have quite a few issues of the following:

Wolverine and Deadpool
Astonishing Spiderman
Essential X-men

Each comic contains 3 issue, so £1.50 each to match the 50p per issue that you've been able to source. They are quite heavy though, you're welcome to collect from Cambridge!

Hi,

They're the english reprints (that I mentioned above) - I'm not really interested in those for him thanks.

Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Superman are the original American issues with all the US ads and stuff. Both are from late 80's/early 90's. TBH, I wouldn't reccommend the Superman/Lobo comic for your kid but the Superman races Flash issue is a lot of fun and enjoyable.

BTW, the ones with the small red box in the corner are UK reprints.

Hi,

What would be your best price on the following

Picture one
Fantastic Four
Spiderman / Spiderwoman
Spectacular Spiderman

Picture two
Indiana Jones
Spectacular Spiderman
Superman (with Flash)

Thanks

£10 delivered second class?
I also have the Obama issue of Spider-Man (4th printing) but I'd like to hang on to that unless you make a good offer.

No thanks, I've bought 20 similar issues for him for £10 including delivery from the forbidden planet website, so don't want to pay that much for individual issues.

Fair enough, but a good place to look would be the actual store where they sell grab bags full of random issues which might appeal to kids for a quid

Hi i've got some batman detective comics if your interested? I think i've got 12-17 which your welcome to have for 50p per comic (can confirm number of comics & post pic if interested)

How do fella, me again. item turned up today. cheers. HOWEVER, you only put a second class stamp on it and so it wasnt enough. there was another 46p needed and then royal mail charged anotyher £1 handling fee. (I have posted games and dvds before and they costy at least 66p for 2nd class NOT a 2nd class stamp)

I think Batman comics might be a bit 'dark' for him to be honest. Thanks for the offer though.
