Wanted: Star Trek Collectables

I'm an avid Star Trek fan, and am looking to build a bit of a collection of memorabilia etc. to go with my DVD collection (which covers all series).

I can't guarantee that I will buy everything, or anything that is offered - it will all depend on the actual items and also the money involved, but I'm prepared to consider anything that you have to offer. :)

As well as the collectables I'm also looking for TOS DVD's, as mine are rather rough around the edges - mostly ex rental and preowned...

I have a few odds and ends of DVD's available to trade, which I'll post if anybody is interested...

Cheers

i have some bits

Theyre in the loft however, i believe i have a ncc-1701-d enterprise, a ncc-1701-e enterprise, a voyager, and some 6inch figurines probably still about too.

They were like airfix models, all official ones, and theyve been painted gold (i use to have a display with them like Jean-Luc did in his room)

If interested i can attempt to get pics of it all and conditions, then price up accordingly.

excellent well if v. interested ill try and sort some photos out and conditions etc and then price accordingly for yourself. Think ive got few other bits up there, as a kid i was an avid star trek/wars fan! Just my dad never let me keep anything in boxes :x Be worth a lot more...especially in later years.

Well might take me a while to 1) bother to get up there, 2) dust it all! 3) price up.
But ive subscriped to your thread so i wont forget you ;-)

And of course if you happen to want the lot...ill do you a deal. :-D

EDIT: Bet you werent expecting a reply that quick?

No worries mate, when you've got the time - I'm not in a hurry. :)

Any no, lol, If I'm honest I don't think I expected any replies at all...trek fans (or at least those that will admit to it) are very thin on the ground these days! lol

Yes please, I'd definitely be interested!

Doohan's autograph is a real gem in any collection. :w00t:

yeah toyed with selling it before, even so went as far as listing it on here but thankfully there wasn't any interest. I'll have a look at prices and see about getting some pics up, it'll be tomorrow or over the wknd though.
My "toys" were forcebly packed away in the cupboard in favour of decor more beffitting a guy in his late 20's lol so i'll need to dig them out.

No worries, and thanks!

I have the advantage of only being in my early 20's, so can probably get away with keeping them on display for a while yet - although they will still probably be consigned to the spare room...:(

Can I highly recommend a tri-dimensional chess set if you can hold of one. I know there are a few on ebay at the moment. They look much better in real life than in pictures (I have to admit I own one of them). Sorry I havent got anything to sell but thought if you can get one it would be well worth it.

I've just had a quick search on Ebay and what can I say apart from...WOW!!! :w00t::w00t::w00t:

I haven't, unfortunately, got the money to buy one at the moment but I'm VERY tempted

***quickly hides credit cards***

Might have to find some bits to list for sale on here, as I have a shelf that the chess set would look fantastic on!

I have some keyrings, still on their cards and a few figures made from lead if interested.

Not really my thing - just kept them for the sake of it...

Any chance of some pic's please?

I'm local (Near Goole) so could possibly collect if we get a deal sorted. :-D

Yeah sure, I'll have a look for them now, but it may be tomorrow when pics are on - if you are okay to wait ? Though I think it'd be cheaper to post, rather then a 50 mile round trip in car...:-D

All I know is the items aren't ancient...we sold all our old stuff as soon as it went out of fashion in the early 90's. Must be worth £1000's now.....

Yeah tomorrow is fine mate, whenever you've got the time. :)

Posting probably would be cheaper, you're right!

Heres a pic of all I've got. I can do close-ups if needed. The lead figures are around 2.5" high.

Hmm...they're Star Wars mate. ;-)

Nice collection, but not what I'm looking for I'm afraid - I never really got into Star Wars, Star Trek was my thing! :-D

:-D

It is late my friend - Could have sworn it said Star Wars.....:? I could always use a sharpie pen and change the words for you...

Don't think we have any Star TREK stuff.....though we may as we used to hoard everything!!!
#20
No worries, you're right it is late - I even had to go back and check my first post to make sure I hadn't put Star Wars anywhere, lol!

If you do come across any Trek stuff, let me know :-D

TBH I think it must be pretty rare to get hold of as all I ever see is box-sets and singles on VHS, in charity shops. I see some mugs now & again of the guy with the big forehead...(looks like Mark Hateley).

I will look out for it from now on - theres a few local boot-sales on Bank Holiday...
#22
It is a lot harder to come by these days, as most of the stuff went out of production MANY years ago. Still a few decent bits knocking around though...just a shame that the prices are so insane. I've just been looking at what's up for grabs on Ebay and could easily spend thousands on just a few nice pieces.

The Franklin Mint stuff is really nice, especially the insignia set.

Anyone going to see the movie, if you hve a choice of cinemas then I would suggest the Empire as they are doing some medium drinks cups, there are four to collect apparently.

I know three are black with a hint of yellow, red and the last blue, so I assume the last one will be black and white with a hint of green but I could be wrong.

Also if your anything like my husband, then one of the popcorn holders also has trek characters on it. Even though I'm a trek fan and met my husband through having a love of trek, I don't think I'd go as far as keeping a popcorn holder.

I have basically the complete playmates collection plus complete futura collect and loads of other stuff
#25
I have TOS on DVD in the red, yellow & blue pods but it'll be a good 10 days before I could post them...

Hi there I have a life long collection of star trek items hundred plus figures including about 10 to 20 boxed and sealed. I have 90 percent of the playmates ships half boxed and mint the rest very good condition except ds9 which has parts missing, I have the bridge play set a transport a phazor of the figure unboxed still have there perifferals, i also have over 90 ships from the futura range inculding complete series 1 2 and 3 series 1 you wont find anymore, i have dvd collecter edition star trek tng with all mags and folders. and loads more stuff its in the loft at the moment but would be willing to dig out for the right price you would basically be gatting a massive amount of mint star trek stuff, i am starting a new business venture so need to loose cash. i live in southport mersyside but would be willing to diliver at cost if a fair price is agreed if i had time i would list the collection seperatly on ebay and expect to make well in excess of £1500 but if its a quick sale as there is some equipment i want for my studio i would consider offers over £500 which is almost £1 per item which is very very cheap let me know cheers dave p.s my ebay name is cheks73 trusted ebayer
