WANTED: STUPID CHILDISH XBOX 360 GAMES

Right, for reasons I'm not sure of, I bought my girlfriend an xbox. This was mainly due to her playing Viva Pinata on mine at christmas (It was part of a bundle OK!!!).

Anyway, she like stupid childish games like that, which luckily for me seem to hold their value really poorly.

So basically I'm looking for quite bad games (though I will check reviews first etc), and kids games. I'm looking at getting these for very low prices.

Basically its a chance to get a couple of quid for some games no one wants.

Any offers?

I've got a copy of Surfs Up somewhere, it's not actually that bad a title!

Plenty of ****/old games, but not really brightly coloured childish rubbish :( I'll have a look in the local CEX though.

Aber: if you find it, get me a price and I'll have a think.

No problem - I've got the case, the game is in one of my other 360 titles (yes bad habit I know!) so will dig it out this evening and get back to you

have you asked bg1?

Get her a brand new gamecube for £25, then pay around £3 a game! Pikmin 1+2, harvest moon, animal crossing, loads of mario games, hundreds of cutesy girly games available on the cheap!

Of course, that doesn't particuarly help since you bought her an Xbox 360 (which was very generous of you but I can't help but suggest was the wrong console to get her), but there's an idea for you.

a suggestion is avatar (can be quite fun on coop)

We've had a wii... lasted about 2 months but gets boring very quickly. The gamecube can't play guitar hero - with the guitar she's nicked off me.

To be fair to her, she plays all games, just cutesy animal based rubbish generally gets me more brownie points. Just don't suggest "Me and My Horse 2" which I saw in game!

my "better" half, enjoys playing the lego games with me on co-op

yeah thats the kind of nonsense I'm after I guess! Which game?

The Star Wars ones got a lot of play from my girlfriend, closely followed by Indiana Jones.

Maybe get some arcade points for her as some of them are quite good.

For some reason she became fairly addicted to Fable 2 as well. But Viva Pinata definitely has had the most play time.
#12
yep my and my girlfriend (who doesnt usually play many games) loved lego indy which we have now completed 100%. She also is playing viva pinata and were getting the full saga of lego star wars too then maybe lego betman.
#13
to OP,just use one of the lovefilm codes and get 3 onths free rental,u can have 3 games at a time.

lego indy might be a good one im thinking.... anyone selling, and anyone know how much they should be?

pinata is ok.. i mean its colourful n looks fun its just soooooooooooo slow.
#15
we started with Lego indy, completed that to 100% now we're on Lego Star Wars TCS, and have batman waiting on the shelf
the lego indiana jones/kungfu panda was £12.99 at thegamecollection.net, best place for it now would be either here or ebay.
#16
lego indy/kung fu panda pack normally goes for £10-11 on here, played kung fu panda for about 30mins yday the mini games were pretty good but the actual game seemed a bit repetitive.

EXACTLY the same here :-D

She loves Lego Indy (we completed it 100%), Wasn't so fond of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga surprisingly, but just started Lego Batman and she loves that too.

Great games tbh, well worth a few quid

Oh and just to make you feel better.............. I enjoy them immensly too, stupidly addictive games......
#18
What about Beautiful Katamari? I think it's £14.99 in Gamestation and it's pretty good

The problem we're having with Star wars is the camera. We keep pulling each other off the screen/cliffs, can get frustrating sometimes.. but still great fun

The Simpsons Game - £12.50 delivered.

Has 2 player co-op for all story missions at the touch of a button and with most time challenges too!

Its alright, but we dont feel the urge to jump straight into another mission like we did with Indy. Plus the flying missons are bloody annoying! Lol!

I was just estimating, but prices are around that at Pink Planet near me.

Talking of co-op - Toejam & Earl on the original xbox (works on 360 I think) was/is a great laugh

Katamari on the 360 is ok, the best version by a mile is that on the PS2 though, brilliant!

If you get those games for £3 each, then I'll give you £20. Fair bet?

if you haven't got it yet, she may enjoy Kameo too.

I might be persuaded to part with Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, with all the games ive got to play at the minute i cant see me and the missus getting back round to it any time soon

I cant find it in stock anywhere so im not sure how to price it

How about £18 inc and i can post today? Its in pristine condition and barely used (practically new). I think we paid £30 for it new in GAME/Gamestation instore last month.

My GF was really into Beautiful Katamari as well. There should be a demo on Xbox Live Marketplace, you can always let her play it and see what she thinks. It's quite quirky and has a really odd sense of humour but gets a thumbs up from us.
