Hello all

really gutted that I missed out on the tesco technika tv deal.

anyway, looking for a tv which is ideal for gaming.

24'' to 32'' is the preferred size. its gotta be in good condition. must have a HDMI slot as it will be used mainly for 360 and ps3 gaming.

im flexible on price depending on the tv itself.

im based in the north west so can either pick up or will neg on price for delivery.

thanks for looking :)

bit of a pointless thread then really. You wont get a decent gaming 24-32" tv for £150!

EDIT:- second hand you might but really should try and get to £200 cos then you'll get a years warranty with a new one

fair enough but you clearly stated the budget was £150! You're asking for help so clear accurate info is essential :p:thumbsup:

Is it essential that the tv is full HD or will 720p do?

oh,I though he had one to sell himself

confusion in the camp!!!

ideally me brother wants a tv which is gonna be used for gaming. he has something against monitors :w00t:

im also looking to get me a parents a tv for their main living room. theyve got a old crt one which is going past its date.

looking for anything from 24'' to 32'' HD ready(1080) ideally. HDMI ports are a must.

I dont know what added stuff tv's should have these days. can't keep up at this rate with the tech

I know loads of deals for tv's get posted here but im never sure on the quality of them. By the time I find out, they've always bloody gone :x

24" i think for under £200

Just been to my local, and they had the 22" for £180....

I was asking for both because I do actually have one that I could potentially sell. It's this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ViewSonic-32-Widescreen-Ready-LCD/dp/B000CGSOSC

I've been wanting to upgrade it for a while, but my girlfriend is opposed to it because this one still works fine. It was bought for £550 in January 2007 (I think). It is 32" and has got one HDMI port, but as I said it is only 720p. I would be selling in your price range (I was thinking £150), and I use it for gaming, but it may be slightly below the spec that your brother is looking for, which is my only concern. It is basically a decent very low budget television, and has served me well, but he may just want something better.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll have a chat with the girlfriend about it. Ultimately if she doesn't want to sell it I won't push her, because at the end of the day televisions only get better for the money so waiting longer isn't going to kill me, but if someone is actually interested it might persuade that an upgrade is a good idea.
