I have a couple of Toshiba Models - fairly old, but they only have CD drives on them. Depends on how old and how cheap you want it :)

I'll have to dig them out from my loft, but off the of of my head they both have an Ethernet port, I think they are Celeron 400mhz processers (like I said, old!) 128mb. One runs Windows 98, and the other runs Windows 2000. They may be too old, but I thought I'd offer them. Would be looking at £25 each, plus actual delivery cost if interested? I could use something like Parcelmonkey to keep postage costs down if you like, but not sure on whether their insurance cover laptops.
#6
great offer but need them a little faster and really on XP as ill be transfering for an XP pc and they seem to have problems picking up win 98 pcs sometimes, do you have anything slightly faster

minimum really wont is around 1 ghz and 256 ram

not bothered with wireless adapter either as i have a wireless USB dongle spare to use
#7
Thats all I have I'm afraid, although the Windows 2000 might be suitable, as XP is then based on that NT technology. Doesn't run too badly, but obviously I'm not going to talk you into it if you know what you need :)

On second thoughts, I have a Dell Latitude LS, but that is a PIII processor (would have to check the speed and RAM). is a 12" screen, but has docking station and cd drive which connects to that.
However, I would be looking at £70 plus delivery for that one
#8
is there any movement on the price (and depends on spec) as i dont really wonna pay near that price without a dvd drive

is the windows 2000 one the same spec ? if not what is it
#9
I've got a dell 14" laptop ... PIII 600mhz / 512mb / 20gb ...

£50 delivered, or *come pick it up from Reading and it's yours for £35.

Comes with TWO power supplies, CD drive and floppy.

Lowest I will accept is £35, but you're paying postage on top. (which is going to be around £15 right? I don't send a lot of stuff so if you can point to a cheap postal service ...)

I'm not accepting any less than £35 as it's too much hassle / time.

He turned down mine at £100 and said he wants to only pay £50 so what do u think! :?
#20
im a he lol and i said around £50 ill pay more depending on spec and condition but sony vaio is just to much thanks anyway
#21
I can use collect+, seems to only cost £3.79. It won't be insured, but I'll pack it well and it's pretty much bomb proof anyway.

Only problems I can find with the laptop is the battery isn't great, I can test it's exact life if you want?

Based on the delivery charge, I can then do it for £38.79 delivered :)
#22
can i have a few days to see what is offered and if no intrest ill take u up on your offer as long as you test that films run perfect on it for me.
#23
Yeah that's fine, I can't send it until next week anyway. Just for reference, I'll write all the specs down below for comparison to other offers.

Dell 14.1 CPi
PIII 600Mhz
512mb RAM
20gb
CD ROM
FLOPPY
Dell carry case

2 x PowerSupplies
#24
thanks will u test some films on it for me and tell me if it runs fine as well just so i know for 100% that they'll play fine and would u take a few pics as well when u get chance

thanks once again

My Dell Latitude LS is lower spec than the other dell offered here, and I'd want more because it is a sub notebook, having the 12" screen, so I'll withdraw that from offer :)

Thread closed. This has the potential to run forever. Deemed not to be specific enough.

I suggest you have a review over the next 7 days and then make a fresh listing, detailing the specs and intended budget (since this is critical to the sale).
