You don't need a Mac keyboard at all - they all work (USB ones).

I wouldn't even bother trying it out - the MAC is in a league of its own, go and buy one! Once you go MAC you don't go back!

I've tried both and use Windows - it suits my needs. Don't make sweeping generalisations and people might think you understand what you're talking about!

i dont no how fanboys have managed to turn this into a mac vs windows debate but heres my 2 cents.

Ive used windows my entire life and it follows me wherever i go. Ive been at college and now university doing computing degrees and was able to keep my hands clean of a mac for up until a few short months ago.

I got a ibook G4 off KX12 on this site and have since sold my windows laptop. To say mac does everything i need is an understatement. It doesn't just do everything i need it to do. But it does it with a terribly slow processor, and it does it well. Running applications properly, quickly and efficiently on a windows machine means that you need to constantly have top range hardware.

Iv'e been using the ibook with a 1.3GHz 256k cache for the last few months and everything opens relatively fast and never crashes. The operating system really is wonderfully more stable than windows.

The only downfall with mac is that it isn't any good for gaming. Its all very well saying "i dont game it doesn't matter" But the point is, with a windows machine you can game, design, play on the internet, watch films, whatever you want. By being unable to play the games your friends are playing, even if you don't want to, is still limiting in itself.

I agree with you on that one, Hence why Macs aren't sold as gaming machines... unlike PC's....

plus you have got a very slow mac, but at least you can appreciate what it can do!

its like when people moan about the iphone and that it can't do picture messaging, doesnt mean its rubbish, just means its not suitable for the person who wants picture messaging!
