Hi, thanks for the offer but I have seen it cheaper elsewhere. Would you take £25?
#3
That's fine. I'll just hang on to it at that offer.

Have you considered ubuntu? Its free, easy to use and install via usb, it does most things you need on a netbook. I just put it on am aspire 1 and am well happy.

I tried ubuntu earlier, but it didn't seem to automatically pick up wireless networks which I would need when in a hotel, at work, etc.

Shame, worked OK with my aspire, did you look on the web for a fix?

thanks for the PM. I didn't look to be honest. the machine wouldn't install any os before ubuntu so I was too elated that it actually installed ok and forgot to check things thoroughly before wiping it.
