Im not very technical but i have a laptop that is currently connected to my wired router,
well i recently got a PS3 and am eager to get online with it, I also have a Wii.
Think wireless might be the best way to go so let me know what you have and how much you'd want for it.

**got to be in excellent condition and easy to set up**

yeah sorry, just added ADSL to the title (not entirely sure what that means but i currently get broadband through my telephone line)

Have you checked with your internet provider as most of them give them away for free now?
(Just say your going to switch to another provider and call their bluff )

its very complicated but i rent an apartment, rental price includes broadband, so i am kind of stuck with the service provided, as the bills dont go to me i have little say in negotiations like this (if i were the subscriber i would phone up immediately to try to negotiate a better router)

lol

no your laptop doesn't need to be switched on. The wireless router is what is sending the signal to the PS3, and to your laptop. It just connects to the router when you switch it on and sign in. You don't need the PS3 on for the laptop to work either

Deathtrap - whilst i appreciate the free bumps you're providing, can you please stop pestering/annoying prospective sellers

Bassman - will get back to you tommorow, interested but just wanna see if there are anymore people out there with a router to sell.

Linksys WAG354G (version 2) Wireless-G ADSL 2+ Modem Router Gateway, 4-Port Switch & Access Point.

It is brand new, with all the accesories (cables, filter, cd, manual) - but I won't post the box as it is too big.

It wasn't right for me as it is not for Virgin cable broadband.

I could sell it to you for £20 delivered.

here is a link to the router:

its got very good reviews

I've got an ADSL belkin N wireless router, Baught it off here thinking it was for WAN but it was adsl its the one pictured here

http://s3.gadgetreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/belkin-n-wireless-router.jpg

The N class routers are the newer technology better than the G, faster and provide a stronger signal that can be found further.

not really im afraid as the router alone is £50 new. Plus to add to that the postage will be around £6 aswell as it does weigh a little. :)
