I've got a 1TB Western Digital NAS drive that i'm planning on selling. It uses the Mionet WD Anywhere software to let you access it from any PC, on your own network, or elsewhere.

could i use it say on my home network and access the stuff on my revo,mac,xbox,ps3,pc???

not looking to spead £90 on 1 i remember seeing a buffalo linkstation 500gb on her not to long back for £39

No way. A simple, single 3.5" disk maybe, but not the Linkstation mini. .
