got myself an older xbox 360 that doesnt have have an hdmi slot,just the av but after gettin a new tv want to be able to play games in hd.seen madcatz sell a thing u just plug into the av slot which allows u to connect an hd cable to it.anyone have 1 for sale?will consider with the hd cable or without.cheers

use component cable or vga cable then, as all the connectivity kit does it convert the analogue signal to digital, and its not digital natively from the port (i could be wrong feel free to jump in).

Often people get just as good HD images using these as hdmi anyways.

m8 lookin at the first pic,would i just plug in the connection that looks like a pc monitor connection or do i also need to plug in the red and white cables as my tv dont have them lol

it is the same as a pc monitor, the red and white cable carry the audio as vga is video only. Your tv will have an 'audio in' and should be colour coded: the right audio channel is red and left audio channel is white:thumbsup:

lol nah m8 mines are red green and blue.i have a microsoft scart connection i plug my cables into then put it into the scart socket for it to work with standard cables.u think it will work if i just put the white and red cables of the vga cable into that?

no doubt it the lead also comes with an adapter to change the two red and white leads to a headphone 3.5mm jack...have you got that input on your tv?

nah m8 it doesnt lol now lookin at ur second pic im thinkin that would work.as i said the 3 things on my tv are red green and blue.the component cable has those 3 colours.wat u think?

somewhere on your tv there will be at least one audio input whether it by rca cables (the ones in the pictures) of the 3.5mm jack no matter what.
The component cables are what i personalyl use on my 42" hdtv and next to the red green blue ones is the red and white one for audio input (although i dont use it as i have an av reciever)
