this has been sitting unused for about 8 months - just checked it - it still works.

The signal is quite weak from my router so I now use BT Home hub poweradapters for xbox.

seeing them go for double money.

before i list it on ebay, anyone here fancy it?

thx to OP for the heads-up ... had no intention of touching it again!... now from the post i realise its value!

Mate it's Christmas let the OP have it for agreed.

You wouldn't have realised had it not been for those irritating threadjackers trying to butt in on a deal.

Spread some love lol

if you list on ebay and sell it for say 30 pounds, about 7 will get taken off, due to paypal fees and final sellers fees... :?

I can buy it for 23 including postage, saves you having to make a listing on ebay! :-D
let me know and i'll post you the money today? you could maybe even post it today? it's for a present for my little brother so would really appreciate it

eBay.co.uk Seller Fees
Listing 0.10
Reserve 0.00
Final Value 2.25
PayPal 1.32
Total 3.67
ex VAT 3.36

(used http://auctionfeecalculator.com/uk_ebay_fee_calc2.html )

assuming it sells for £30 (seems to go for about £41-£44 though)

...but i'm not getting into that - just pointing out the fees you are paying ebay and paypal are double what everyone else is paying - i'd complain if I were you.

agreed, I am quite sorry that I was alerted to the true value of something I really was never going to use again.

If OP had got in contact before two others started flag waving - a few PM's would have been exchanged and I would be walking down the post office right now.

but ... well, here we are, I am quite confident this will sell for close to £40, which will go towards my heating. If I was 'loaded' with a sense of fair-play - i'd chuckle to myself and give OP the product.

But i'm not 'loaded' - and the sense of fair-play is making this a very tough post to compose.

(12) Once an offer has been made and accepted the trade should be considered final. Sellers who accept an offer and subsequently accept a higher offer from another member, may be suspended from trading. On the flip side, members who submit or accept an offer and subsequently pull out for any reason, will be suspended from trading for at LEAST one day.

Good luck!

radishnet, you have withdrawn your agreed offer after thread hijackers posted in the thread and have wasted the OPs time (thread hijacking comments were removed). As highlighted above, withdrawing from an agreed sale is a fs/t rule breach that carries a standard 1 day suspension unfortunately :

*Apology to OP*

In seeing a simple request for an item I no longer use, I was browsing through HUKD, as we all do, and thought to ask for what was offered but added on postage.

within 2 minutes two other members posted they would be interested.

This made me think that I may well have offered to sell for a vastly below market price.

I was proved correct both by the interest and a simple check of completed listings...

Although I have assured OP I will not sell this item on the unnamed auction website, I feel it necessary to apologise to those who took the time to point out the 'poor-ness' of my actions, the moderators, who no doubt have better things to do than analyse posts to decide which rules have been breached, and finally, and obviously, to OP - who still is without product.

It's been bit of an eye opener in offering my wares in a knee-jerk way to a recently submitted post, and from my deserved warning, I will, in future, ascertain a value and not just accept what is offered to try and help someone out.

end of.
