Daugters PC was kaput, so bought a new MB off ebay. Works fine, but could not find any drivers to make the thing boot from the SATA drive (after many hours searching and multiple Nlite builds of windows XP).
So put the IDE drive from my external drive case in and all is now fine, but I have a 160GB SATA hard disk and and IDE enclosure.
I have now manage to pick up an IDE Drive from Work, and so this is surplus to requirements.
