Have a boxed white MacBook 2.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo up for grabs. 120Gb HDD, superdrive, 1Gb RAM and boxed.

Good - runs like a dream no issues.

Bad - Needs a new battery, can be picked up fairly cheap from 'the place we cannot mention'.

Ugly - has a few cracks on the case, common with this model BUT take it to an Apple store (or send if off) and the case will be replaced FOR FREE!!

Not too sure of what to ask for it, but a figure of £400 is my starting point. Would consider a trade for an iPhone 4 (unlocked/jailbroken and working on 3) or a 16/32Gb iPad.

Will get some piccies up when my camera has charged up!

Hi m8, according to http://www.mac2sell.net/ the same model in mint condition would be £340. but given the need for a new battery and the damage to the body would you take £250 + p&p? (Dependant on pics).

Is this a late 2007 model3,1? What OS is it runnnig? Snow Leopard? Are the installation discs included?

Cheers

Dee

it's running snow - but will be supplied with installation for tiger (10.5) no receipt but everything else is there!

mac2sell prices are notoriously off market value in my opinion, 250 is way too low

Do you have any photos?

will get some up as soon as my camera has enough charge!!

I think it would be wiser for you to get the case replaced yourself, then you may get more interest.

fair point - just thought someone may want to get one sooner than me having to send it off, they may live close to an apple centre so can get it done same day

Okay. Would you consider in the range of £300? I can also PX with my Phosphor E-Ink watch FS in another thread, and an Acer Aspire one.

Have you confirmed apple will definately replace the plastics?

Would be looking at 375 as my lowest, and yes I've had confirmation Apple will fix the case, sorry not looking at other trades, it's boxed with full restore disk set

£350? Can I get some more piccies of the whole thing and any other marks/damage?
