White MacBook 13" - SOLD £500.00

Ok all - Here is my reluctant sale of my White MacBook, the spec is down below and as you will see from the (admittedly poor iPhone photo's) this has been kept in a hard shell case since day one (I promise to take the picture stickers off the front of the black "shell" casing!)

She's running Snow Leopard and all of the official discs are there, Leopard, Snow Leopard and iLife 09, I will throw in the case, rubber keyboard cover and Apple mouse for Gratis!

I will, of course, give her a full rebuild before I send her to you and I am looking for as close to £500 DEL'D (PPG or BT only please) as possible, I would rather not take trades on this just the cash (solicitors build for the house nove we are going through)

Now obviously this is a place for deals and I would much rather meet in person to hand over than trust Royal Mail or A N Other carrier to get this too you safely and we can work something for saving on postage, I live in Coventry but work in Solihull

The price for me is fair so please don't try and give me the Mac2sell price, that is offensive to all and as I have upgraded the HDD to 320Gb and RAM to 4Gb I think £500 is a good price with Applecare for another year as well

I have taken more photo's and will try and upload them via Flickr or Imageshack, that kinda thing too

I am very interested in the macbook, and I am from Bedworth so 10 minutes away from you for collection. However, I was looking closer to £350 - £400 (Mac2sell suggests £290 although I know you think it is offensive!).
#5
Morning :)

Offensive might have been a bit strong, farcical is probably better :-D
That's a bit low for me, can you go higher?
#6
If I went to the higher amount i would be prepared to pay, £400 would be the maximum I could offer.
#7
£400 is just a bit low, but I will keep the offer in mind if nowt else comes in if that's ok?
#8
No-One? (Bump 2)
#9
£440 If I can collect but will be about 10 days or I pay sending cost.

Hi Stealy

I could do with the sale asap really so posting [!] would be the better option as you couldn't get to me for 10 days.

Yours is a fair offer but £450 really is the lowest I was looking at letting this go for (after postage costs)

I have had a look at other listings that have been on here in the past and they are saying postage is about £13, I haven't costed this myself as yet

In a nutshell - £455 and it is yours? PPG or BT ok?

Would you want to part exchange for a Dell Mini 10v Hackintosh Netbook? Comes upgraded to 2gb RAM and 6 Cell battery (also have an 3 cell that's only had about 4 cycles on it). Amazing battery life, runs OSX flawlessly providing you don't want to do any heavy processing.

Sorry for my late reply, been a very long day at work!

Could do about 250 ontop and I can collect (I'm in Leicester).

How does that sound?

Well have a little think about it :-)

Honestly tho, you'd be doing us both a favour, i'm guessing you need a bit of cash but you also like os x. I love this little thing, but I need something with a bigger screen and a bit more power to do some web page editing.

3 1/2 - 4 hours listening to iTunes, surfing and working on doc's etc. sounds about right and the standby time really is phenomenal
