if you change your mind about the colour i've got 2 black ones i was planning on putting on ebay this weekend.
#2
I might be interested in a black one depending on spec?
#3
I have got a Late 2007 Macbook 2.0 GHz with Intel Core 2 Duo and 80gb HD. Available soon due to impending upgrade to MacBook Air. No idea on a price yet, say £300 but easily negotiable.
Live in Scotland so would have to be sent by courier.

Thanks for the kind offer. Scotland is too far for collection so would need to be delivered yes.
However, given your low feedback quote, would you consider posting first? with payment on receipt?

The 2 I have are as follows:

#1.
Late 2006 model
Intel Core Duo Processor 2.0GHz
2GB DDR2 SDRAM
160GB Hard Drive
Matshita Superdrive
Intel 950
Mini-DVI output port - supports VGA, etc
13.3 inch High Res TFT Widescreen Display
FireWire port

very minor scuff on one of the corners (which can be seen in the pics below).

#2.
Late 2007
Intel Core2Duo Processor 2.2GHz
4GB DDR2 SDRAM
320GB Hard Drive
Matshita Superdrive
Intel 950
Mini-DVI output port - supports VGA, etc
13.3 inch High Res TFT Widescreen Display
FireWire port

One battery lasts for around 3 to 4 hours while the other no longer holds charge (replacement batteries cost around £35). Both 13.3" & running Snow Leopard.

Let me know if you need any further info or pics.

I've also got a 13" crumpler slip case. I don't have the original packaging but will package securely for delivery.

Also if required I can upgrade the hard drive in either to 500GB.

The reason i'm selling is due to recently upgrading to a macbook pro.

Was planning on putting them on ebay this wknd but would of course prefer to sell here. As a rough guide to the price im after the same model as #2 (but with less ram and a smaller hard drive is currently at £430 Item number: 220703294824 or same hdd and Ram @ £500 Item number: 270669719618). As for #1 I'd be looking for around £350.

I live in Harrow so not too far from MK.

Cheers

@ DVS_Dee
Thanks for info and pics for 'late 2006' model.

Would you be able to post some pics of 'late 2007'? How would you state condition on this model? Will this need a new battery?
Do you have the original Disks for snow leopard? Any remaining warranty or can AppleCare be bought for this? Has this been bought new and then upgraded by yourself? Is there a model number for me to check reviews and previous spec? Is it Boxed?

Again my budget is between £300-£400 for the right machine. I would prefer to collect and check everything (for that added piece of mind) rather than have it delivered.

Hi Ele-font,

The late 2007 model is in perfect condition, it looks exactly like the 2006 model. I'd give you the working battery with it. It comes with the original snow leopard disk, there's no remaining warranty as I bought it new and I never bother with applecare so just got the standard 1 year warranty.
The model identifier is "Macbook3,1".

Applecare for these goes at around £140 on ebay (but tbh I never bother with it).

As far as price goes, I know the 2007 model goes for around £500ish on ebay so i'd be looking for close to that, but the 2006 model I'd be willing to do for £350.

Both machines were upgraded by me & I no longer have the original packaging.

Which laptop has the battery that holds charge? Might be interested in the first one
#10
Hi Dee,

I think I will pass in that case; cannot meet at £500 unfortunately.
Also, not interested in late 2006 model. Will leave it for spobby :)

Cheers mate, and that was with a couple of defects too so i'm definitely aiming in the right price range.

Just going by the price that the similar ones went for on ebay (that I mentioned above) £596 & £520 ( + £20 p&p). I'd say £550 delivered is a fair price for both of us.

For reference you can get an 09 macbook with a multi touch trackpad for around £500-£550. IMO the black ones are hideous.

Can you show me where please as I can provide item numbers (see above) for the ones I was referencing. IMO the black ones are great (& I own 2 of them).

Lol, that's your own machine then and not the current value of an '09 macbook these go for around £620 + £20 p&p on ebay & tbh I don't trust most of the stuff on gumtree. Why don't you just sell your macbook here i'm sure you'd get closer to it's true value.

Anyway, Spobby if you like i'm willing to listen to offers that I deem reasonable.

Cheers

Also your ones that price as you state in your listing that both the apple logo and screen are scratched, ok makes sense now!

im on about few others on gumtree, i never listed mine on there, tbh with macs u can test em before hand. If unboxed then fair enough could be dodgy . But like they are only £700 through education if i can remember correctly. Once on ebay you're looking to pay around £30 in fees.
