That looks exactly like a kit from games4play.com who I also bought a set from. The screw driver and the colour of wire is exactly the same as mine was. If it is from games4play, it is likely to be a clone. But not only a clone (clones work). The wiikeys sold by games4play do not.
Also, note that real, genuine wiikeys come with a holgram wiikey sticker.

The wiikeys from games4play are NOT genuine and do not work at all!!

depends what dvd drive chip your wii has.

if it's a D2C then this chip won't work.

if it was bought more than 3-4 months ago it's likely to have a D2B but you will need to restore the legs on the chip on the wii's dvd drive. nintendo removed them to prevent people installing chips. this requires using a dremel or a very fine sharp knife to cut into the chip, exposing the parts of the cut legs you'll need to solder to. very fiddly indeed.

if it was bought more than around 8 months ago, it's likely to have D2B chip with the legs still intact. this is the easiest one to install on, but still... the solder points on all wii drives are very very very tiny. if you're not experienced in soldering you should practice on an old piece of hardware or something. use a low wattage soldering iron and some thin kaynar wire.

check out http://nintendo-scene.com/wiitracker/search.php
to see what's inside your wii. results can be inconclusive though and the easiest thing is just to open up the wii yourself and find out. you will need a tri-wing screwdriver which you can get off ebay - i can see one pictured above though with markvirgo's ad.

also you have to be a little bit careful with wiikey as there are alot of clones about. it's widely reported that the clones are not updateable and as such cant play newer games such as super mario galaxy and likely super smash bros brawl when it comes out as well.

If you are inexperienced in soldering, do not attempt this as it may cause you to lift solder pads. The solder points are minute and the wire used it 0.1mm thick.
If you are experienced in electronics soldering, you should be fine as it is only 5 wires and can even be quicksoldered. (although I recommend the short wire technique - google it)

Guys just to let you know that Clones can be updated if they have firstly been programmed with a serial programmer.. even the dodge clones being sold in the past by games4play can be updated but not initially via dvd until they have been manually updated.. not for the faint hearted and to be avoided at all costs.

I've not heard of any clones that can be updated 'out of the bag' unless someone has gone through the hard work of initially reprogramming them with an above mentioned serial programmer.
