what version do you need? XP home, Pro? OEM or Retail?

if you want a COA (label with code on) I have a dead HP Desktop that has the label stuck on the case - no CD but am sure any XP OEM copy will work.

Its XP Pro 1-2 CPU version

the code has never been used or registered, as when I got the desktop I installed Linux on it.

MODS can you let me know if OEM versions are able to be sold? i know when i was looking last year they couldnt but now cant seem to find it in the trading rules?

if they are allowed to be sold then i have windows XP professional OEM version. basically brand new. i bought it last year to put on my acer aspire one (which has no disc drive) but gave up as i couldnt get it to load via a flash drive (probably me as i'm not that good with the technical side of computers!).

if comes with manual still shirink wrapped onto a bit of cardboard (slit side to get disc out) and the COA sticker still on the wrap, readly to be peeled off :)

£18 recorded sound ok?

If you can provide documentation that permits you to resell the actual license you own, then please let us have a copy and I'll give you our view.

Has this been activated? Is the COA removable from the side panel?

Actually not to bothered about version . Can be home or pro .. The only thing I can find is 7 or vista at retail around me and the pc I need it for dont have the spec for it.

I will 'google' to confirm the any XP cd thingy but you might be right. How much will you take for it including first class delivery?

Might be a little delayed in response today so will get back to you asap

I have tried to remove it but it will damage it so im not going to try, hence sending the side panel. I never got around to activating it as i moved onto a different pc before it was finished.

As far as i am aware it has neverbeen activated, but i dont see why that should matter as its a legit key that i own and it hasnt been published anywhere else either.

arrrhhhh so you need some sort of permit!

i'll remove mine from sale then. like i said, just needed to check as i'd seen it in the rules last year but this year cant find anything  is there actually anything there?

i've just had a check on ebay & they do allow sales, although everyone is including a bit of a computer hardware! LOL

would the same rule happen here? or is it just no OEM at all unless with a permit? thanks :)
