Hello

I have an acer aspire one netbook for sale in blue. It is in perfect condition and is fully boxed. Not sure but I'm guessing the Amazon warrenty is transferrable, bought in early December 2008.

Specs are;
Windows XP and Windows 7 dual boot
160gb HDD
1gb ram
Latest bios (3309)
Battery enhancing software is included for both OS.

Also included in the sale is a mint condition Techair tan211 laptop bag which is perfect for this netbook.

When it was new the battery gave me more or less 3 hours on a full charge under XP. Now I have moved on to Win7 I get 2hrs 20 easily but the difference is prob down to the fact I don't throttle the processing power which I could under xp
Shipping/Payment:
Sd included in price

It's bank transfer for payment only on this.

Do you have the COA for the XP software?

Also, u do realise that this is pretty much the same one as they had in Asda for £150?
#4
Unless I'm very much mistaken the asda one only had 512mb of ram and only came supplied with linpus Linux.

I will be supplying the COA to the windows xp professional installed.

The price IS ambitious BUT there is scope for a deal.

Also this includes an excellent case that is about £30 worth.

Looking at the techair website it looks as though I can transfer the "worldwide tracking" of both the laptop and bag to the new owner.

Isnt this the one you bought from amazon in January? Or maybe that was a different deal you posted?

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/317538/acer-aspire-one-netbook-with-1gb-ra/

the hard drive on that one is smaller than your advertising here? That says 120G, top of this page says 160G, that one came with Linpus operating system, the one advertised here says dual boot XP and windows 7. The keyboard doesnt have a windows home button in your photos yet when i google the windows version of the acer it does - does this come with genuine recovery XP disc's?
#7
that Amazon deal was for a White one so I'm guessing he didn't get it from there
#8
The OP made several posts on the Asda acer thread saying his was a Linpus version and he had installed windows, which is why id like to see the invoice warranty posted and a photo of the box to see if it is the XP version of an Acer as stated in the first post or a Linpus one with windows installed on it. The asda ones were only £150

If its just an Asda one with a copy of windows (COA without official xp restore disc) and windows 7 installed and a slight upgrade of memory the asking price is very high compared to the retail price
#9
That's for the OP to clear up although he does state in his 1st post that there is an Amazon warranty??
#10
the Linux ones come with a home button on the front left, the Windows versions come with a windows button, im after another Acer for a neighbour but this decscription doesnt ring true with the pictures or what the Op's previous posts say - thats why im asking so many questions (re my previous posts) :)

Not sure, is the warranty valid if he has update the memory - isnt that a take the case apart job on the aspire one ?

I dont think the memory is upgraded ...but i would still like to see the box and if possible the invoice as i think it is a Linpus version thats had a copy of windows installed (unless the OP would like to post an invoice for the copy of XP for me to see :)

without wanting to reference a well known auction site, my brother picked up one of these a month old, with Vista for 170. You are pricing yourself way out, even with the bag.

Hello

This netbook was originally sourced from the good people of amazon: hence the warranty "possibly" being.
transferrable from them.

The original spec was...

Linpus Linux
1Gb of RAM
160Gb HDD
3301 Bios

The price includes the XP install and the COA.

Whilst I appreciate the price is ambitious I also feel it gives a little room for negotiation.

If someone wants to make an offer by all means do so, they are wonderful machines.

Does this include a genuine cd of windows XP with a certified COA sticker with it?? (have asked a few times, example in link below)

I kind of thought I had answered that BUT to make it more explicit...

You are also buying a Certificate of Authentication Sticker that matches the installed copy of Windows XP Professional on the Acer Aspire One. It ALSO includes a genuine copy of the installation CD which includes service packs up to and including service pack 2.

So, in short, the answer is NO it doesn't come with a GENUINE CD of WXP + COA.

Crumbs;

good job I got a good deal on my NC10 then :)

Looks like Im keeping the Acer as well then!

Im not letting it go for anywhere near that price, I HONESTLY think they are worth more.

Looks like this is now withdrawn from sale.

AND NOT ONLY THAT!!!!

It actually cost me over £20 to post it special delivery!

I WAS GOBSMACKED!
