  i have an old V3X that is locked on 3 network, (with manuals, charger and cables etc) its in pretty good condition (with a few chips and scratches on the case) but im sure everything works fine

  ive just checked my v3x, everything is there and it works fine, the outer casing (its the orange one) is a bit more worn than i used to remember.
  both screens are fine, camera works fine, key pad is fine, i believe that everything else works ok on it, there are a few area of the casing that are worn and chipped.
  CEX would sell it on at between £38 - £55 depending on the condition that they assess it, so would sell it for £40 all in.

  thanks guys, but i already have two v3X, both unlocked and loaded with the very latest, fastest firmware available for these beasts, nice phones by the way.
  Anyway, it's the V3i I'm after cause I want to give it to my son as a present.

  hi, chiptivo. ''really that good" ofcourse is relative, compared to what ? Compared to other V3x, all i can tell you is that I have spent in excess of 100 man-hours making sure they have the best DRM speedups, best patches, and seem edits that make sense to me. What i normally do is take the currently 'best' voted firmware for the phone and then work on that further till i refine it to the point that I'm happy with and because i have many mobiles my standards are pretty high.
  Don't know if that answers your questions. Anyway this has probably nothing to do with the orignal thread subject, p.m. me and take it offline if you want to discuss further.
