Hi you might do better specifying a rough price or whether you want a new or used one...anyhow ALDI are stocking a great spec laptop shortly for under £500... heres the link click me
i have 1
boxed with all original software & discs
windows xp home with service pack 1
pentium 4 3.06ghz
512mb ram
40gb hard drive
Nvidia Geforce 5300GO
Dvd writer 8x
good condition with good screen pics can be uploaded if needed
£200 posted
ok sounds good but gonna let things run for a bit and see what else people have, also can the raam be upgraded
Dude, you could just get the Dell posted as a deal today for £80 or so more?

Sorry to thread-spoil, but that's better vfm in my opinion
yeah but to be honest not looking for a top of the range new one or anything, would take somthing like a 1 or 2 ghz cheap lookin at the £150 price range, but would go higher if i had too, but lower is better as its only for browsing net and small tasks
i am willing to negotiate a little on price if interested!!!
ram is upgradeable it takes 2gb!!
any1 else got one, looking for cheap a possible £100-£130 dont need it to do much.

edit: i'd now take one wit a 40gig hard drive as the space isnt that important
