Don't know to the first question. Yes to the 2nd. I think it's the concept that intrigues my daughter, so there may be better versions of the same thing. Tbh, the titles don't convince me that they are the most suitable reading material, so if anyone knows the same kind of book but more appropriate for girls, please holler!

I have about 20-30 of these boooks that I don't read anymore.

The primary trailblaizers of this genre were Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson who created the majority of these books!

I'll dig them out, make a list and post a pic on here if you are interested in them? What do you have to trade?

No need for a picture if you say they are in vgc. It's a few more than I expected and I'm a bit hesitant to buy a pile in case it's a passing phase for her. But what were you thinking in terms of payment? Only things off top of head I have for trade are a BN 360 wired headset, a few original xbox games, other books (various types, too many to mention unless you express an interest), erm.. I dunno, feel free to ask or look through the kind of things I usually have hanging about and I'll think about what she needs these.

What genre of books are they? I'm mainly into SciFi/Fantasy/Crime/Action books.

There are 23 books there and I would probably say a couple of pounds delivered individually, but if you wanted the whole lot then I could do them for £25-£30ish delivered? Will probably work out at 50p each plus the combined postage for the lot

Right, books are probably out then as it's mainly children's, academic or literature here. I'll have a think about an outright purchase then and come back to you. Thanks for the list and the offer

Sorry TheMafia, I haven't forgotten about this - just might be another day or so before I make a decision. Poor girl is burning up with fever since yesterday so I'll wait till she can think straight again before chatting with her about these books. Thanks for your patience

Sorry for the delay on all of this. She's find now thanks but still a bit 'wobbly' :)

Well, it looks like a bit of a waste of time for you - - because she's not interested any more. It was, as I suspected, a passing phase. She was given one of these books by her friends yesterday and has spent this morning reading it. After all, she says it isn't that interesting and prefers to get back to 'normal' novels. Sorry dude, I'll try to make it up to you sometime
