Hi all,

I really want to buy one of these cameras, but my wife is nagging me saying that we need to be saving money for our baby when it arrives!!! Was wonderng if anyone had either model that they dont use anymore that they would sell me for less... probably unlikely as I know the reconditioned ones are an excellent price!!! But dont ask, dont get!!!

Interested in the S5600?

I'm afraid I don't have one to sell, but if it's any consolation I just thought I'd let you know that I bought the
S5600 about a year ago & it was worth every penny. Fantastic camera & I use it virtually every day & cant recommend it enough.

If you don't get any offers on here for a bargain then I would bite the bullet & go for the recon - you can assure the wife that you'll have thousands of gorgeous, top quality pics to record your babies life, you cant put a price on that!

Good luck

yeah, probably would have gone for the higher spec to be honest, and the 2 year warrantee... still I bet if you put it on ebay it would go for that, it is a good price, for what it is, they are just going down all of the time...

cheers mate, appreciate the offer... Rep added

Excellent - nice work! Aww, how exciting :). The In-laws Golden Wedding this w/e for us so the S5600 will be well used.

I hope you enjoy using your new toy - I've taken more pics in the last year than I have over the last decade! I was an Old School slr fan & have been lugging a classic '60s Nikon Nikkormat around for the last 20 years. I'll never get rid of the old girl but for the everyday this Finepix range are hard to beat for the price tag.

Good luck with all the baby stuff - prepare to be amazed!

PS I picked up a couple of extra lenses (wide angle & a zoom) for a song off t'internet, not Fuji but compatible with the addition of a screw on ring adaptor that came with the lenses. Should you decide to purchase any add-ons in the future by all means PM me & I'll dig out the details.
